At SCM, we focus exclusively on Owner's Representative and Project Management services, ensuring our clients receive conflict-free guidance without the competing priorities that arise when firms also design and build. After watching “project management” reduced to note-taking, passive reporting, and high-level oversight with little meaningful leadership, Cary and Helena knew owners deserved better. They believed owners needed a true advocate—someone dedicated to protecting their interests, driving progress, and ensuring real results. SCM was built on that belief.
SCM is led by Cary Schmoldt and Helena Jenkins, whose partnership forms the foundation of the firm. Their combined experience spans decades of successful project deliveries nationwide. Cary brings over 30 years of experience as a commercial general contractor, senior project manager, and owner’s representative. Known for both his expertise and integrity, he has built lasting relationships with clients, architects, city officials, and industry peers alike. Cary applies his extensive knowledge of construction contracts, scheduling, negotiations, and technology to anticipate risks and implement effective solutions—always with client success as his top priority.
